Help, I Need New Ear Cushions, But Which Ones Do I Choose, There are So Many!

Have you ever tried to figure out which ear cushions or voice tube goes with your headset?  It can be complicated, because there are so many different ones.  Even worse is when you think you have the correct one, and it arrives, but you find out it doesn’t fit at all!  Here is an easy solution to finding the right accessory for your headset(s), and thereafter you won’t need to worry about getting the wrong part.

Of course, you can call us, and we will be more than happy to assist you.  However, you may prefer to go online to place your order and be on your way.  If you know which headset model you have (i.e. HW251, CS540, etc.), then you can pull that headset up on our website, and scroll down until you see the green bar that goes across the page.  You will then see a tab that says “Accessories”.  When you will click on this, you will see all the different options available for that headset.  This will take the guess work out of which voice tube, ear cushions, or ear buds will work with your headset.  Listed below are a few of the headsets and the ear cushions and voice tubes that go with them.

The following headsets all use the accessories listed below:

H251, H251N, H261, H261N, H351, H351N, H361, H361N, HW251, HW251N, HW261, HW261N

Accessories:

Doughnut Ear Cushions – 40709-02

Soft Ear Cushions – 61871-01

Leatherette Ear Cushions – 67712-01

Voice Tube – 29960-01 (H251, H261, H351, H361, HW251, HW261)

If you don’t have access to a computer at the time you want to place an order, just call us at 800-914-7996, and we will help you select the item that will best fit your need and wallet (or pocket book).  Also, if you aren’t sure which model headset you have, it is an easy process to find out.  If you have a wireless headset system, then turn the charging base over, and it will show the model number there.  If you have a corded headset that has a removable ear cushion, remove the ear cushion (for dual headsets, remove the ear cushion that is on the same side as the microphone).  There will be some numbers and letters stamped on the plastic speaker part that you can tell us, and we can tell you what model headset you have.

I hope this takes the guess work out of ordering accessories, but if you still aren’t sure, just call, e-mail, or chat with us, and we will do whatever we can to assist you; that is what we are here for at Headsets Direct.
