Easy Solution for USB Training Needs

Your company has decided to make the move from hard desk phones to VoIP Soft Phones to streamline everyone’s desk and increase productivity.

They have a new group of employees starting soon and you have been chosen to make sure these new co-workers are trained and up to speed as quickly as possible.  You’ve decide the best way to achieve that is to let them listen in on experienced employees conversations,  but you are not sure how to do that with your new Softphone.

With the following products you’ll be able to easily train with your USB connection.  You’ll need (2) Plantronics H-Series Headsets (the EncorePro HW520 Dual ear might be a good choice, so your trainee can focus on the call and trainer’s voice without surrounding distractions).  You would also need (1) Plantronics Y-Training Adapter and (1) DA80 USB Adapter Cable With Inline Controls (or the DA70 USB Adapter Cable) for each computer set-up.

Your trainee will be able to listen to the call, and you will be able to listen to your trainee when they start taking calls. You’ll be able to control which headset microphone you want muted with the mute switch on the Y-Training Adapter.

You will not be able to train on your USB Softphone with Wireless Headsets or Plantronics Blackwire USB headsets.
